Mark your calendars — the second annual “These Colors Don’t Run” benefit is set for Saturday, March 29, at the Valencia Ballroom in downtown York. Doors open at 6 p.m. for red carpet photos, a cash bar, silent auction, photo booth and hors d’oeuvres.
All ticket sales, silent auction and sponsorship proceeds will benefit Keystone Wounded Warriors, a non-profit organization based in eastern Pennsylvania.
“Keystone Wounded Warriors has been dedicated to providing local wounded post 9/11 veterans with support while transitioning into the civilian world,” event organizer Nikke Shanabrough said in an email. “They strive to ease the financial, physical and mental burden that has been placed on our troops.”
The night includes guest appearances by the USA Cheerleaders, York Capitals of The American Indoor Football league, and Ms. Motorama 2014, plus performances by Dazzling Gems Dance Company of Spring Grove and singers Kayla Kroh and Leah Burkey.
All that, of course, leads up to the main event: The fashion show.
